Dear Book Lovers,

My name is Nicole. I am from California and love to read YA books.

I think what really got me into YA books was not the Harry Potter series or the Lemony Snicket series, but the Twilight books. I first heard of the Twilight book when I was in China with my class. My friend Nora suggested I should read this book, but that's not when I read the book. It was not until I was a freshman in high school did I read Twilight. My friend Nicoline brought the Twilight book to class, and I turned to her between double period if I could read it. I don't know what compelled me to ask if I can borrow the book, but when I did I loved it. I was never in a relationship, so reading a book of a vampire who would do anything to protect his human was very romantic in my eyes. From then on, I hoped to find my Edward, who will protect me and say cheesy lines to me like "you're like a drug to me."

Ever since then, I have read countless YA books, but I felt that I need to express my feelings toward all the books I have read. As a result, I decided to blog about YA book and review them, so I can share my passion for YA books.
